President’s Message

It is with sadness that we note the passing of two distinguished members of our Institute, A/M Larry Dunlap and LGen Reg Lane. Both officers made significant contributions to Canada and to the reputation of Canada’s Air Force. Indeed there are few airmen in Canada who can match their contribution to aviation, as attested by their inclusion in Canada’s Aviation Hall of Fame.

On a happier note, I remind members our traditional Christmas party is scheduled for Sunday the 14th December.... so mark your calendars.

Our web page, www.rusiviccda.org is a truly a credit to our webmaster Don Booker, who has voluntarily and unselfishly given his time and effort to achieve this success........thanks again Don.

I remind all members that the Board of Directors are badly in need of volunteers to serve as Board members, replacing current directors, who have served for an extended period. Duties on the Board are not onerous and the Institute can only continue to prosper if members step forward. Please advise the Past President, LCol Al McLean, if you wish to volunteer.
