127^th Annual General Meeting of the

Royal Canadian Artillery Association

will be held 18 - 21 September 2003
at the Naval Officers Training Centre
(Work Point Barracks) Victoria, BC

This event will mark the 125^th anniversary of 5(BC) Regiment, RCA dating back to July 1878 when its predecessor, the Victoria Battery of Garrison Artillery was formed in response to a threat of war with Russia. Its first costal defence guns were mounted at Macaulay Point, today a part of Work Point Barracks. This will be the first time for the artillery association to meet here.
