The Federation of Military and United Services Institutes of Canada recently selected two members of RUSI-VI to be awarded the Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal by the Government of Canada.

Pat Mitchell was recognized for his dedication and work over the past ten years to stabilize and then develop RUSI-VI into the organization we are today. His energy, charismatic leadership and hands on attention to detail, have served us well. He is a past president of RUSI-VI

Cec Berezowski was singled out because of the power of his pen. For many years he has been a contributor to FMUSIC, DANN, the Canadian press and, of course, editor of our quarterly RUSI-VI Newsletter. Most recently as Chair, FMUSIC Defense Committee, he helped author the FMUSIC position paper, “Canada’s Strategic Security XXI.”
